There is no better time to get in some fly fishing then today. This is the perfect past-time for photographers as we like to fill our time in beautiful environments while waiting for the light to become perfect for our shot. Since so many of the great photo opportunities in this part of the world are around waters that happen to have beautiful rainbow trout teaming in them… Let’s Fish. We will visiting The Snake River as it winds through this gorgeous landscape and hope to find just the right conditions for a great photograph.
Today we are focusing our lens on the wildlife that is abundant in Teton National Park. Moose, Elk, Antelope and Deer are all over this park as are the bears. With safety in mind we never want to get too close to these animals as they are unpredictable and potentially deadly. The safety of our tour vehicle will keep us well protected should the bears decide we are of more than a passing interest to them. If birds of prey are your fancy then you will see them everywhere in this corner of the world. The Teton Raptor is a beautiful creature and they can be found here in the park. Equally, where ever there is water you can find the Sandhill Crane position itself to feed. Lunch today is a catered picnic affair and dinner will be a barbecue in the park as well.
Mormon Row is number one on our list to shoot today we want to be out here for sunrise to shoot these pristine barns at sunrise. Afterwards we will head over to the Jenny Lake Overlook, and the Oxbow Bend on the Snake River.
